The Polwerk Ltd. established in Polish-Hungarian cooperation in 1995. The firm is located in Szákszend, in a village in Komárom-Esztergom county in Hungary.

In 1988, by buying-out the foreign owners, the Ltd. became a venture with 100 % Hungarian ownership.

Our strategy was to adoption of manufacturing and trading of the traditional cream fudge caramel called "krowka". At the present time this specific appearanced, retro-tasted, free of additives candy is our main product. Int he meantime because of the changings of the consumer demands we scoped to develope new products with variant composition and packages.
Thanks to our developments we have a brand of fruit toffees, natur and chocolate covered butter cream caramel bars, industrial semi-products.

In the autumn we produce seasonal Cristmas products, these are special wrapped cream fudge and butter cream caramels.

The yearly output, we now afford is, 400 tons of sweets, which is sold mainly to the domestic market.

The factory is operating according to the principles of HACCP and ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
